Dropped drain - deep pothole

Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 16:21, Fri 17 January 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

On the left hand side as you turn left heading towards Chalfont from Longbottom lane. A drain has dropped and there’s a very deep pothole.

If you conduct road service checks - then why aren’t these being picked up? It is proving that your road service checks are inadequate and not being conducted thoroughly enough. I’ve reported several potholes along these roads on our route to Chalfont Community College over the last 6mts after damage to my vehicle. It’s completely unacceptable. Especially when a FOI request has shown checks are ‘supposed’ to be happening regularly.

This section of road is also liable to flooding and becomes impassable- so why aren’t the drains being cleared??? These flooding issues are causing potholes!!
