Several large potholes in the middle of the road
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 20:31, Wed 22 January 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1954731.
These potholes have been there since end 2019 and are getting dangerously large. They are not always visible due to permanent flooding on this section of road. Heavy lorries force vehicles passing them to go down the potholes. The side of the tarmac has also been eroded by the heavy vehicles accessing the nearby landfill and cars avoiding the flood. The flooding is contributed to by the run off from the entrance driveway of the landfill - water is used to wash the wheels of lorries but it runs straight back onto the road and the silt has blocked the drainage ditch. There is also water continuously running down the road from near the electricity sub station further north.
