28 london road

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1991995.
There are double yellow lines from the petrol station roundabout which then stop before number 24. Number 24 has a dropped kerb which prevents vehicles parking outside their house. Residents who do not have enough off street parking by double yellow lines then park their vehicles in front of our neighbour's property (26) and our property (28). These cars park half on the pavement and half on the road so we often have to leave the property blind. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND yesterday, and accident did indeed happen. The situation is made worse by the property across the road not having any off street parking so he parks his vehicle directly across the road half on the pavement and half on the road. People with push chairs struggle to wheel them through the gap left on the pavement causing greater danger to pedestrians. I have a library of videos and photos showing the extent of the problem. if any further accidents happen, the council would need to defend a claim of negligence as I have been made aware that this issue has been presented by other people many times. We are simply asking for double yellow lines to be extended down the road to number 30. Indeed number 30 has put in for planning permission yet again, and if granted this will further exacerbate the problem.
