Last 1/4 mile North bound, roadsurface delaminating

Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 21:09, Sat 15 February 2020

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2000642.

This whole section of road surface is disintegrating, delaminating and heavily pitted. Even in an SUV, the whole car is violently shaken. I have previously reported this, only receiving the standard replies. Maybe, if the inspection teams had to drive their private cars on this road twice a day, they would have a different out look on the situation.

  • Whilst you're "considering the planning of future works in the area", are you happy to reimburse costs, on all the damage which is being caused to vehicles. This is including the advanced wear to component parts, by constant vibration on a poor surface. As well as one off damage caused by large pot holes?

  • Still falling to bits. The obvious solution, is to get it done whilst there is a lack of traffic. But it appears to be much more important, to get fresh markings down for the local speed cameras. Now that's where the money is
