Road at 53 Hill Farm Road - SL73LX

Reported in the Flooded subway category anonymously at 13:07, Sunday 16 February 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

DUE TO THE VERY BAD ROAD SURFACE AND DRAINAGE CAPABILITY, WE ARE EXPERIENCING LARGE VOLUMES OF FLOODING AS THE WATER COMES OVER THE SMALL BUMP AT THE TOP OF OUR DRIVEWAY (WHICH i BELIEVE MUST HAVE BEEN LAID BY THE COUNCIL?). THIS ALSO CONATINS LARGE AMOUNTS OF MUD ETC. THAT COMES OFF THE FARM FIELDS AT THE TOP OF HILL FARM ROAD. WE ONLY MOVED IN BACK IN SEPTEMBER LAST YEAR AND ARE VERY ANNOYED TO DISCOVER THAT THE ROAD IS CAUSING US THIS MUCH PROBLEMS. HAPPY TO SEND FURTHER IMAGES THAT WE HAVE TAKEN AND PUT INTO A PDF FILE. PLEASE HELP US BY DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AS THE BOTTOM OF THE DRIVEWAY IS NOW LIKE A SWIMMING POOL AND CAKED WITH REALLY BAD MUD AND SILT ETC. WHICH IS NOW ALSO SPILLING INTO THE PROPERTY NEXT DOOR.

  • Note that I have been forced into making a very temporary repair to ease the problem until the issue has been resolved and this temporary repair is just that and the work needed is still required by the highways team from the council.
