Corner of Brayfield Lane and Burton’s Lane - opposite Burton’s Way

Reported in the Ditch issue category anonymously at 20:35, Sunday 16 February 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

I have already complained to the council about this drainage problem and was told the case was closed on 28/1/20.

Apparently the council is trying to ascertain who ‘owns’ the ditch and therefore who is responsible for this ongoing issue.

As you can see from the photos, the pavement is almost unusable. Last week I waded through the water on my way home from work.

It is not acceptable and has been going on for months.

Cars swerve to miss the water, pedestrians are forced to enter the road to avoid water and water is spilling into the adjacent gardens.

The pavement is caked with debris from the trees above and mud from the water. The council needs to do something about it.

Please advise what you intend to do.
