The situation in Barley Close has worsened substantially over the past year. Several of the 20+ major and minor potholes have enlarged substantially with some nearly 3 feet in length and some approaching 2 inches deep now. If you had fixed the problems when last reported in 2020 you would not have as extensive a repair job to do. Also as the close is being increasingly used by school parents as a drop off and pick up turning point there is considerable additional traffic causing the situation to worsen more rapidly. There are also some kerbstones which are coming loose due to this extra traffic as they often park with 2 wheels on the pavement and on the double yellow lines at the entrance to the close causing further traffic problems at school opening and closing times.
I have 20+ photos of the worst items that need to be addressed but your system only allows me to attach 3!! If you want all of the photos email me. There are several other minor holes in addition to the 20 largest ones I have used a 12" (30cm) rule in the photos to give an indication of the size of some of these potholes.
Please can we get these fixed soon and not just be fobbed off again. This is the second year in a row that i have reported this and I am sure that this will be the third or fourth year where it has been reported by me or one of my neighbours and yet you have taken no action to resolve.
