Defective street light LC035 (missing on asset map!)

Reported in the Street light not working category anonymously at 12:05, Sunday 23 February 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Two street lights, numbered LC035, 2 metres apart. Original (1977) lamp does not work, replacement (installed circa 2000, with telephone mast) has not worked since installation. Both light columns have been out of order for 20 years, neither have been updated as part of high pressure sodium/LED mods in recent years. LC035 is now missing from the asset map - perhaps why they've not been attended to?

  • Although marked as 'Fixed', neither the original 1977 street lamp, nor the late 1990s replacement column, are operational: both still have sodium lampheads - neither are illuminated after dark. IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT ANY REPAIR HAS BEEN DONE to reinstate one of these columns and remove the redundant one; there remains a dark gap between lampposts LC034 and LC036.
