Edge of road

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:18, Monday 2 March 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Deep and with very sharp edges - likely to damage tyres if driven into (which is likely because it is quite difficult to see). Noticed for first time on 29 Feb)

  • Pothole is on South side of road between manhole cover and kerb, opposite shared driveway to numbers 3 and 5 Mursley road. This afternoon I noticed cars swerving to avoid it, which could be dangerous as the road is quite narrow.

  • Today I took some photos (also showing manhole for scale). The sharp edge on the right is in the direction of travel hence likely to damage the nearside front tyre of cars that has the misfortune to drive into the hole.
