New post on private property

Dear Sir, Recently a new post has been placed in the ground outside of my house which I believe is for a future lamppost. I do not mind having a lamppost located outside my property however the location of the post has been placed on my land. I understand that the boundary is unclear as it is also at the end of a footpath. I would like some guidance on how to put rectify this issue and possibly create a boundary fence as currently people are walking and driving over my driveway. I have had some recent building work take place on my property and we plan to reinstate the fence at the end of my drive but during the works the footpath was also altered, which can hopefully be seen within the attached pictures. Many thanks for your help
