Danger to life & vehicles

Reported in the Pothole category by Steve Shiel at 12:28, Monday 9 March 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

This stretch of road from the canal bridge up tot he 40mph section just before the Red Lion pub/roundabout is extremely dangerous. There are so many potholes along here it is very difficult for a driver who is familiar with the road to avoid them. What makes them particularly dangerous though is the fact that a large section of this road has a 60mph speed limit and is totally unlit at night! Visitors to the area are at risk of crashing their vehicle in their attempts to swerve the potholes at the last minute. I issue you notice now that if my car is damaged on this road, I intend to sue you in a small claims court.
