MK18 3AN outside no 16
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 16:25, Fri 13 March 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2060133.
You have again closed this report. Did your read the report I sent through? (Below)
You sent people yesterday for this problem, who literally dug a hole (they cut away about four square metres of the existing tarmac and then filled it back in with new tarmac).
They did not do anything and had not been instructed to do anything about the actual problem which was the blocked drain.
Please do not close this report again. It is not a duplicate.
Kind regards Michael Broom Smith
For photo please see previous report. I wrote on :12th March 2019: The drain is blocked and this has been reported several times by our neighbour at No 16. Action was scheduled (on the original report by my neighbour) and four men (sub-contractors for Transport for Buckinghamshire) are onsite now (12:39 12/3/2020) but they have not been instructed to unblock the drain. I don’t understand what they have been instructed to do(too technical). A new job needs to be scheduled to have the drain unblocked. I don’t know how long it has been an issue as I only moved in in August 2019. Thank you. Kind regards Michael Broom Smith Your replied: "Thank you for your report. We are already aware of this defect which has been added to our works programme. Regards Transport for Buckinghamshire" The schedule work was carried out yesterday. Four sub contractors cam to the street and cut out about 4m2 of brand new tarmac (the road was re-tarmaced late last year) around the drain and then filled in with tarmac as a patch repair, having done nothing with the train because they had not been told to unblock the drain so rather than do what was required they simply did what they had been told to do which was a complete waste of council tax payers money. So the originally reported (by my neighbour on multiple occasions and by me yesterday) problem still existed. Namely that the drain is still blocked. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Michael Broom Smith
