Outside 1 weston road
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:01, Thu 30 April 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2101463.
I have reported on numerous occasions that the road immediately outside my driveway floods significantly and has caused erosion to the path and also to the entrance to my driveway to the point now that one of the cars scrapes upon entry which is not great at all!
The flooding is so significant that vehicles on the approach to the roundabout by the petrol station drive through the water and pedestrians are getting soaked.
I happen to own a hovercraft, however, I didn't really want to be using it to exit my driveway if you understand where I am coming from.
Granted this only occurs when we have rainfall, however, even fairly insignificant rainfall as we have experienced today is causing tidal issues.
We are pretty much the furthest point away in the UK from coastal issues, however, if this continues we may need the coast guard in Aston Clinton!
I have spoken to colleagues in the Council (yes, I work there too) and advised to continue to report this as a problem.
I am having problem attaching photos today, however, this needs to be investigated at the earliest opportunity before my driveway disappears and I find myself living on an island! That will take isolation to a whole different level entirely!
