Drainage

Reported in the Blocked drain category by Ron Thompson at 12:56, Tuesday 5 May 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Grids on the London Road Buckingham are blocked to the extent grass is growing from them. Particularly badly affected are those on the left-hand side, entering Buckingham, just past Brookfield Lane. During any rainfall London Road becomes a torrent as water draining from Brookfield Lane and the top of London Road, outside Buckingham School, flows all the way down to Chandos Road with no respite or drainage. Pedestrians are affected by traffic spraying surface water across the foot way, and vehicle control is difficult due to aquaplaning. Can the Council please attend to this hazard!
