Multiple dangerous potholes in the road . Some are nearly a metre long and 20cm wide , they are all very big and dangerous as can easily puncture car tyres . These are directly outside our house at number 6 . Please resurface the road as a matter of urgency

Reported in the Road surface category by Karuna Hall at 21:41, Sunday 17 May 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The potholes all the way down the road have been filled over the years but constantly come back and new potholes are appearing plus the ones that are there are getting worse . We believe the road needs resurfacing ASAP The large holes are really dangerous as you can easily puncture your car or bike tyres on them . Children ride their bicycles in this road as it is a cul-de-sac and I would hate to see any child falling off their bikes due to the potholes as this could easily happen now more of the kids are out cycling . Our own children find it a problem on their bikes due to the holes in the road . Please can you resurface the road as we don’t believe this is safe as it is now. Other roads nearby have been re-surfaced so we would like the same please . Many thanks Kind regards Karuna and Peter Hall - number 6, Gaviots Way

  • Please can you prioritise fixing the huge pot holes in our street by resurfacing it as they are a danger to anyone cycling in our road particularly with the increased number of children cycling up and down the road . Many different households in the street have requested this but nothing has been done . In the past potholes have been filled in but they just reappear again which is why all the residents want it resurfaced ASAP Thank you

  • A few of the pot holes have been filled in but this is only a temporary fix to the situation. As stated previously the road needs to be re-surfaced as this is a more long term fix and will stop wasting money fixing potholes that will need to be done again shortly.
