We are residents of Stomp Road in Burnham Sl1 7lx. We accept that Stomp Road is busy however the speed bumps which are in place are causing a terrible noise problem. This is mainly by vans, lorries , tipper trucks which vibrate going over the bumps. The bumps make no impact on the speed and therefore the noise is like bombs going off. This starts early in the morning and very often wakes my whole family prior to our alarms going off at 6.15am. This is really starting to impact on our quality of life. The road itself is quite worn so I am unsure if this is making the vibration and noise worse due to the levels of the road and the speed bumps. What would you like to happen as a result of your complaint? A review of the road and removal of the bump or some action to address the noise pollution
