Communication
Reported in the Road surface category by Daniel Pollock at 15:21, Tue 2 June 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2139447.
I'm sure you will agree that communication is a wonderful thing, and that as a department you are quite capable of communication clearly, effectively, and unambiguously. So why have you taken to this sort of communication (following) which does not convey whether you intend to fix this road or not... only that you will "consider" it. Well obviously anyone reporting a hazardous road issue already knows that you will "consider it" and what they actually want to know is whether you will "fix it" so that it is no longer a danger! (This is by no means a given with TfB.) Why else would anyone take the trouble to report anything?... which is why this type of meaningless reply from your department is bordering on outrageous.... ""We have recorded it and will consider it when we are planning future works in the area. Please note we work on a priority based risk matrix in line with our Highway Inspection Policy and therefore programme times can change due to priority based working."" I am still waiting from a proper reply to the two issues that I have reported ("Generally dangerous"/Ivinghoe and "failed road"/ Wingrave).
