147 Holtspur Top Lane
Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 20:41, Wed 10 June 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2150716.
We are still experiencing the problem of blocked main road drains and therefore causing the man hole cover to lift off every time it rains. This causes all the road water and debris to end up in our driveway - yet again we end up with a river flowing down the side of our house and then as you will see from the pictures it leaves all the debris behind to collect. The man hole cover remains lifted and could easily cause serious damage if someone hit it or tripped Also the pavement around the man hole is starting to dip and is very uneven, if this is not seen to soon you will end up with a sink hole and a possible reapirs job of my wall and drive way if that collapses too This has been going on for about a year now and all I am told is - it is on the schedule. I think this schedule might need reviewing Please just come and unblock the drains and ask the road sweeper who always stops at cherry tree road to come down the whole of Holtspur top lane Thank you

We wanted to inform you that after the heave rain last week the pavement above and around the man hole cover is starting to collapse - as this driveway is in use, cars are driving over it a couple of times a day and putting further pressure on pavement - it looks like it could collapse at any time.
Also since you came along and secured the man hole cover down the water is now bursting through the pavement in many areas around it - even as far as a metre away from the manhole
As I am sure you can image we are getting deeply concerned about the erosions being caused and the wall in our driveway which holds everything up!!
Is there any way an engineer could visit so we can point everything out to them and also for them to talk us through the action they intend to take
I was updated that works would be carried out in July to unblock all the road drains, crates and manholes along Holtspur Top Lane Please can you confirm this is still the case Thank you

Please see from the pictures attached that the damage is getting worse and also very dangerous. As you can see the path is now a major trip hazard. This is a popular route for joggers, school children, pushchairs and elderly walkers I am concerned that someone is going to trip and fall very soon or even twist/break their ankle Please can you advise when these repairs will take place.
