  • Images show one of the Westwood drains blocked 5 and 13 months ago - unchanged. Also, tree debris collecting at Harwood/Westwood junction following rain this week

  • Thank you for your email Thu, 18 Jun, 13:03 advising that this work is now scheduled.

There is significant risk of flooding to properties whilst these drains remain blocked.

Please can it be given higher priority?

Yesterday, raw sewage from a Thames Water overflow near The Hand & Flowers restaurant flowed down Westwood Road over the blocked drains. I attach a picture of an emergency Thames Water team clearing the residue today (Sunday).

When schools return in September, student parking will make access to 3 of the drains more difficult.

    Thank you.
