Opposite No 40 - one of the gulleys not shown on RYP map
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 14:59, Wed 17 June 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2160314.
This issue has been reported before and no improvement seems to have been made. The road gully opposite our house does not allow water to run away quickly enough and creates a huge puddle. The one marked on the map outside our house is better but it also backs up and stops rainwater from flowing away quickly.

Thanks for the reply and I appreciate that the work will be “considered”, in the meantime, we’ll just continue to hope that any heavy rainfall “considers” not flooding our front garden because you haven’t cleared the gullies outside. Nice one, thanks!!!

Afternoon! Good news is that a road sweeper came along our road this morning. Bad news is that he had to zig-zag around parked cars and totally missed the gullies outside our house - not that a road sweeper is probably the best tool of choice for the job? Maybe it is?
You can’t actually see the gulley grid across the road at the moment for the amount of de dis caught up in it.
For a more efficient and economical result, perhaps you could communicate with the residents and take a couple of days suspend parking on each side of the road in turn so that a proper sweep could be made? Just a thought?
