Dip in road between Wilton Hollow flats & 133 Amersham Road, HP9 2EJ
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 12:44, Thu 18 June 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2161893.
Repeated flooding of roadway, becoming worse with each rainstorm over the past year. Didn't use to flood like this. Currently the floodding is approx 30cms deep. Cars have to turn around or risk engine flooding. Suspect rain gully blocked. Called Thames Water who said rain gullies are responsibility of local authority, hence this report to you.

Hello, This problem is getting worse. Light rain shower just now and already some flooding. Every time it floods it loosens the already poor road surface. This turns into road surface gravel that washes into the drains blocks them more. Drains now full to the top with detritus. Any gravel that doesn't wash into drain stays on road surface. There is now drifts of this eroded road surface gravel that cars and cycles skid on when driving over. The combination of poor road surface & flooding caused by blocked drains mean that both the drains need to be cleared and the road surface once again needs to be repaired as it so poor.
