Slide Oak lane leading to Denham lane
Reported in the Hedge problem category anonymously at 08:07, Wed 24 June 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2170109.
Dear council, I’d wish to report an issue with the over grown vegetation, hedges and trees along Slade Oak Lane leading to Denham Lane. The road has be come dangerous And created a number of blind spots making driving unsafe. Also the holly bushes have grown extensively and when cars are passing these bushes are scratching the paint work of vehicles. Whilst the country has been on lockdown the road has been used by many more residents who are running, walking or cycling and due to the over grown vegetation they are ending up in the road, I have already seen several near misses. My car was also damaged by the vegetation as two cars cannot pass safely and you have to move very close to the edge of the road. The increased vegetation has also lead to more fly tipping as offenders are obscured by the over grown vegetation which is adding to the problem, I have already reported this several times previously. You may not be aware of these issues, hence for this report to highlight the safety issues. Could this please be looked at urgently, and whilst there are currently fewer cars on the road, it’s an ideal opportunity to rectify these issues. Kindest regards
Dal
