Hedges and trees badly overgrown along public footpath
Reported in the Hedge problem category anonymously at 14:12, Sun 28 June 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2176142.
The hedge alongside the public footpath has been allowed to grow until= trees have grown, rather than being a hedge. The growth is cut back from time to time, but never cut DOWN, as it should be. As a result, the public footpath is very dark and unpleasant to use at times, the path becoming slippery with leaves, etc. when it is wet and branches hanging low so that people walk into them, as my husband did yesterday. We are continually cutting vegetation back ourselves, but we don't have the tools to do what should be done on a regular basis by whoever is responsible for the public footpath, presumably WD Council... It should also be pointed out that there is an entrance to Manor Farm Schools along this footpath., so far from ideal for parents with young children, pushchairs, etc.
