Outside dropped kerb at croft cottage but several other places along pound lane

Reported in the Blocked drain category by rick krajewski at 11:55, Wednesday 1 July 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

I appreciate that regular drain un-blocking is currently happening on pound lane in view of recent reports of blocked trains but Bucks Council should know that many of the issues on Pound Lane are not drain related but stem from the resurfacing of the road a few years ago - the drop calibration was not calculated correctly and many pools arise simply because the road falls either in the wrong direction or insufficiently to direct water to road side drains. The water stays behind for many house after heavy rainfall and my concern is that in deepest winter, the freeze/thaw effect will erode the road and cause pot holing etc. Someone from the Council should visit after heavy rainfall and not just rely on gully clearing trucks - such as the one outside right now and there yesterday too.
