Trees overhanging road
Reported in the Kerb damage / issue category by Mark Sibthorp at 12:20, Fri 3 July 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2184043.
Trees and bushes overhanging Taplow Road after the railway bridge causing cars to move over into the other lane which is a serious safety issue on a narrow road. Where this isn't possible due oncoming traffic, cars are getting scratched by the overhanding branches.

We have recorded it and will consider it when we are planning future works in the area. This is a canned answer which is not acceptable. This overhang is damaging cars and impacting the safety of any pedestrians walking under the railway bridge. The overhanging trees, branches need to be cut back and even the soil and grass in encroaching upon the narrow road. Why is it councils simply can't maintain their local area without people like me having to spend time reporting the obvious. We all pay a fortune in Council Tax which seems to do nothing more than pay inflated salaries. The roads in the area are a disgrace, I've seen better in Nigeria.
