Drain outside no. 5a South Street
Reported in the Ditch issue category anonymously at 12:54, Wed 22 July 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2211829.
The drain outside house no. 5a South Street needs to be assessed. It would be ideal if some sort of lining could be placed between the drain lid and hole. The drain is not flush with the road and so when cars and trucks drive over the drain, it not only makes a load noise, it also creates a vibration throughout the house our cottage due to the car tyres hitting the drain at excessive force.

I have just monitored a couple cars driving past and it seems it is not the drain that is the issue, but rather a ditch right next to the drain causing the noise and vibrations when tyres hit it.
