2 block drains at the grass verge of Furzfield Lane

Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 15:35, Saturday 25 July 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Once again, after intermittent heavy rain today these drains are failing. They are blocked with soil/earth and have grass and weeds growing out of them, resulting in the lane towards Swan Bottom crossroads suffering with heaving running water. This is causing unnecessary water coming onto our driveway and splashing the front of our house. These 2 drains are the only surface water drains serving our property from the King Ash/Corner farm area. The lane is downhill, so naturally water runs down the lane past our house and with failing drains, this is causing issues.
