The verge and road alongside crendon house
Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 20:28, Sat 25 July 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2216626.
On the verge outside crendon house are a large number of stones and logs placed there by the inhabitants. These re frequently found in the road. They are just in front of a blind bend on a single track road that is used by pedestrians horse riders and cyclists including many children. When they are in the road they create a hazard but they also force these road users to be in the road on a blind bend. If a car comes round the corner there is no chance for a horse rider or cyclist to get out of the way as the verge is obstructed-this is especially apparent when travelling towards long crendon. With 2 farms operating along Westfield road and a large number of businesses at Westfield farm, this bend is dangerous if the verge is obstructed like this and the stones/logs are often in the road
