A4146 - B488 roundabout
Reported in the Hedge problem category by Malcolm Cleland at 12:26, Thu 6 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2233276.
Approaching the roundabout from the south on the B488 the sightlines to the right are obstructed by shrubbery and brambles to the right. This makes it impossible to see traffic approaching form the right which has right of way.(middle picture). Traffic approaching from the East with right of way can see across the roundabout and therefore hit the roundabout at speed, traffic permitting. (First picture) This reduces the possibility of B488 traffic of entering the roundabout without some risk. The extent of the offending shrubbery can be seen in the third picture. Last year all this vegetation was reduced to the ground providing a much safer view of traffic from the right.
