Outside 18 Stewkley Road
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 10:35, Fri 14 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2244969.
Hi we have an ongoing drainage problem is my part of Stewkley road. The road drain outside my house ( number 18) in times of heavy rain is discharging water rather than taking it. The road floods from my house all the way down to the doctor's surgery where the drain takes water again. My property is lower than the highway and becomes flooded due to the water running off the road and down my drive. I believe that the actual pipe is blocked / damaged in the section from my property (end of the lay-by) towards the doctor's surgery , at least 3 road drains are affected. Someone from the council did come to clear the drains from number 18 to the doctor's surgery but when he tried clearing the drain outside my property he said that the drains are blocked and there is a blockage from the main pipe.
