Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 11:31, Mon 17 August 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The drain on the main road is blocked Causing causing the rain water to run into our shared driveway. This means that you can not walk out of the driveway and all the silt is building up on the tarmac and then transferring onto our drives. The drain is just outside on the left as you come out of the drive. The drive is located off the roundabout at the top of Bedgrove on the Wendover road

  • I was told that there are tree roots blocking the drain and that work would be scheduled in the new year. We are now in June and there has been no work carried out to clear the drains. Please can somebody advise when this work is planned to be completed.

  • The drain is still blocked. I was written to by Zoe Ford on the 22/12/20 following a complaint about how this has been handled. Her email stated:

************** With regards to the blocked drain outside your property on the Wendover Road, I am sure you are aware that our crews have now attended and I wanted to update you with their findings.

Unfortunately the crews located a huge root ball in the drainage line outside your property, the root ball was so dense that the root cutter was unable to cut through and clear the line. To unblock the drainage line now requires excavation and replacement of the pipe.

A works order has already been placed and I have requested that this work is expedited for the new year. ******** This work has still not been competed. I asked for an update on here on the 16th June and there has been no update.

Can somebody provide a date for when the works is going to be completed.
