Flooding to driveway

Reported in the Flooded subway category anonymously at 10:55, Wed 19 August 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Ongoing problem with flooding from Bradenham road. Water is not being directed to the drain. We were advised on a previous visit from the council that the solution to this would be to raise the kerb stones on the drive in order to direct the water to the nearest drain. The council have been out & cleaned the ditches but this it hasn't really helped the situation. Each time we have a heavy downpour this is the result. Water is running down the drive into the property outbuildings causing water damage.

  • We raised this issue with fix my street back in August & still have no update or resolution to resolve our flooding problem. I received a notice that Bradenham road will be resurfaced yet again on the 9th November. would there be an opportunity to fix our flooding issue at the same time since you will be digging up the road? If someone could get back to me either way. It would be good to get a reply at least as all my notes are being ignored it seems.
