Outside No 7
Reported in the Road surface category by Dorothie Jones at 21:00, Thu 20 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2255832.
So after many months (years even) of reporting on here, emails, letters to the Highways Department and County Councillors, 2 failed repair attempts and a complaint that was raised by myself and rejected, white paint was finally sprayed on the area indicated, suggesting that some sort of repair would soon be taking place. Hopes were raised!
So then there was 'lockdown' What a disappointment!
As you can see, there are numerous multiple reports about the state of this road. Numerous potholes are now merging and specifically for me, where indicated, the surface between numbers 7 and 21 (on opposite sides of the street) is more or less completely disintegrated. This will not survive another winter.
Is anything ever going to be done? I can't believe why I'm still talking about this. I've lived here for years, but new people in the road cannot understand how it was ever allowed to get like this.

So here we are October 2020. Over 2 years (May 2018) since I and others began reporting on this problem on this page and still nothing done or any indication of any action taking place. All that's happened is the situation is ever worsening with damage now being caused to residents vehicles. With a history of subsidence in this street, I wait the next episode in this sorry saga
