Drainage issues
Reported via iOS in the Ditch issue category anonymously at 09:04, Wed 26 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2263884.
As you will hopefully see from the attached photo I would like to highlight a drainage issue which leads to the flooding of my garage. Due to the low dropped kerb and lack of nearby gully when there is reasonably heavy rain the water runs down the channel over tops into the footway and then into my driveway which leads to the garage and on a number of occasions in recent weeks this has led to my garage being completely flooded. The nearest gulley is some 40 yards up the road and all of the highway drainage floods from there down to my driveway. I should be grateful if you would look in to providing an additional gully and/or to raising the height of the dropped curbs to prevent the water over topping them. Should you need them, I have more photos and a video of the issue. Thanks
