Unnamed road by entrance to Padbury Mill approaching the junction SW of Padbury
Reported in the Sign problem category anonymously at 17:35, Thu 27 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2266917.
There are no 'give way' signs along this road as you approach the junction on the corner, not a single one. I was directly involved in a head on collision at this junction last week as a van failed to stop here. Given that the road markings are poor and there was no signage to tell him that he was joining on to a road whereby he would have to stop and give way I am not surprised he failed to stop. Thankfully neither party was seriously injured but my car was written off as a result. There needs to be at least one give way sign at this junction, ideally another one further down the road after the Padbury Brook bridge and also a STOP sign at the junction as it is a blind bend. This could help to save lives in the future.
