Outside both entry points to the house
Reported in the Kerb damage / issue category anonymously at 12:18, Sat 29 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2269414.
The road was resurfaced approximately 6 to 8 months ago. At the 2 entry points to the property the kerb is lowered and there has always been a clearance of approximately 3/4 -1 inch between the kerb and the road surface. After the road was resurfaced the difference no longer exists and the road surface is flush with the kerb. There is also a slant of the road surface towards the property which was not evident before. Consequently when it rains there is excess water and debris flowing into the property and when it rains heavily the double garage gets flooded. This has happened on multiple occasions since completion of the road surface and has never happened before. Please could you investigate to determine if the road surface needs to be deepened or the kerb raised to avoid flooding of the garage.
Thank you for investigating this new problem.

I have videos demonstrating how the flooding occurs. Can I upload videos or email them to the engineer/ technical team to help the investigation?
