Unmakes slow running road gullies
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 11:45, Tue 1 September 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2272890.
These blocked/slow running gullies have been reported previously without any remedial work being carried out. They still do not appear on the Fix My Street maps.
A road sweeper did zig zag past cars one day recently but totally missed the area of these gullies.
When it rains heavily, the puddles go above the kerb stones and up to just under our front door. The back garden has also started to develop large puddles indicating there could be an issue with the surface water drainage in the area.
Please can we have something done about this?!?!

I’m confused by your comments to my last update. You’ve said that works are based on a risk analysis but not doing this work has contributed to flooding.
The gullies are now covered over with leaves and debris, also increasing the the chances of flooding.
Our rear garden flooded a few weeks ago with about a foot of water, including 3” water inside our shed. I don’t think the Bucks Council are really running their risk analysis properly.
If the analysis includes the guy who parked up opposite our house and updated his tablet before driving off again, without getting out the van, no wonder it doesn’t work well?
Please review and look to get a resolution.
