Incorrect road markings

Reported via Android in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 21:07, Thursday 3 September 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Edge of carriageway markings have been provided across the entirety of the resurfaced junction. This is inconsistent with the treatment applied at other junctions that have recently been resurfaced where give way markings are provided across the entry of the the minor arm. Vehicles fail to give way at the best of times as emerging from Lansdowne Road onto Lyndhurst Road and these markings are not as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions for priority junctions. It is considered that give way markings should be provided to clearly communicate the right of way. Note - this treatment is also applied at Nightingales Road to the west though other junctions such as Uplands Avenue and Greenway with Lyndhurst Road have had their road markings correctly applied.
