By the ellen road roundabout and infront of mandeville school
Reported in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with timings category anonymously at 16:30, Wed 16 September 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2298078.
There is no pedestrian crossings indicated by zebra lines this is dangerous for children who exit the school everyday cars come down very fast and don't often stop to let children cross this can be extremely dangerous as there's only a small window of time to cross the road before another car comes hurting round the roundabout and continue to speed up, there can be lots of close calls on this road and needs to be dealt with ASAP luckily recently there has been no major collisions between car and child but there has been many incidents of close calls as this is a busy road and there's no safer way for children to cross, i and many other children would appreciate a zebra crossing or some kind of traffic light system to create a safe space for them to cross without the risk of getting hit or having to run across when there's a small window of time.
