Directly opposite single track access road to High Lanes, Thatch Cottage, Brook House, Dorney Cottage and White Lodge

Reported in the Kerb damage / issue category anonymously at 22:37, Thursday 17 September 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Two new access driveways (very close together) are currently being created onto the A355 directly opposite the access lane to the above properties. This is an already dangerous stretch of road due to the speed of vehicles coming from the M40, the lack of visibility of oncoming traffic as this is close to a bend, and the "near misses" that have occurred for cars turning right from the M40 direction into the lane. The addition of TWO driveways directly opposite will only add to the level of confusion and danger that already exists on this small stretch of road. Did the Council give permission for these driveways? We received no notification that this work was to be carried out. These are a serious additional hazard to everyone using the access road to our properties and to other cars and lorries using the A355
