Pedestrian crossing opposite Asda

Reported in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with buttons, beep or lamps category anonymously at 13:33, Monday 21 September 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Dear TfB. I reported a traffic signal obscured by overhanging tree foliage as a Road Traffic hazard - report ref: 40143035. However, I've received a confirmation that the status of this is now 'closed' as the responsibility for cutting back foliage rests with Aylesbury Town Council. Thus, I deduce there has been no action on the part of TfB. The point I made in my original report was that any road traffic incident attributed to the obscured signal could throw blame on to the Highways Authority (ie: Buckinghamshire Council) for which TfB is the responsible contractor. Can you tell me whether you have notified Aylesbury Town Council about this hazard, or do I need to report it to them? Many thanks - Richard Wells
