Roundabout A413 / B416

Reported in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 22:35, Wednesday 23 September 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Road markings or the roundabout need to be changed to make it clear which lane cars driving straight over the roundabout from Kingsway should be in - probably the right hand lane? This is because on at least two occasions whilst driving down Kingsway approaching the roundabout in the left hand of two lanes intending to drive straight over the roundabout, I have been overtaken on the actual roundabout by cars driving aggressively and fast cutting me up as they turned left down the A413. The junction encourages aggressive driving as cars think they are going to overtake on the two lane A413, but don't realise the car in front may be going straight over the roundabout. On the last occasion I was overtaken and cut up by two cars actually on the roundabout - I obviously realised they were driving dangerously and took avoiding action - but it was frightening and I believe the road layout does not discourage such dangerous driving. Similar dangerous driving situations also happened to my wife at the same location.
