The lane of Hollington (just off Bicester Road), outside and below 93 Bicester Road
Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 12:04, Thu 24 September 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2309813.
The road surface from the top of Hollington (Bicester Road End) down the bridge / drain where the road turns into private ownership needs re-surfacing as it is crumbling / breaking up causing 2 problems. One, potential damage to cars but secondly (and more importantly at the moment), when it rains, all the loose debris/gravel etc blocks up the grills that directs the water into the stream and instead diverts the water down Hollington, straight towards the house at the bottom (91 Bicester Road) causing a flooding issue. During the heavy rain yesterday (24/09/20), only by continually sweeping away the loose gravel from the crumbling road from blocking these grates/drains did it prevent the streams of water causing a flooding issue into the house. Could this therefore please be dealt with as a matter of urgency. Thank you.
