There are no visible central or kerb road markings or working cats eyes on the westbound stretch of the A40 up Redhill between the traffic lights at the junction with the A412 up to Tatling End. This part of the A40 is so dangerous at night as you leave the lit area of the carriageway into pitch black to come up Redhill towards Tatling End. This is even more dangerous now as there is continuous flow of water coming down the hill so not only are there no road markings and no street lights, in Winter this will be a skating rink. Accidents waiting to happen. Visible road markings on this stretch in the centre and at the edge of the road are vital and have been missing for a long time.
