St Mary’s Way, Sainsbury’s roundabout, Chesham

Reported in the Traffic lights problem at temporary roadworks category anonymously at 13:48, Monday 28 September 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

4-way roadworks at the Sainsbury’s roundabout in Chesham are faulty or not fit for purpose. Entire town traffic is blocked for over last hour. Current journey time for 2 mile drive from Amersham and through Chesham (normally 6 minutes) is 29 minutes according to Google. Reports from local Facebook page say locals have been waiting 40 minutes to move by one junction. You describe this as ‘minor works’ with ‘delays possible’. Quite clearly this isn’t the case.
