Abrupt change on surface level at junction from Blind Lane into Woodside

Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 15:43, Tue 29 September 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Severe step in level between road surfaces causes vehicles to slow significantly when turning into Woodside. Has nearly caused vehicles behind to rear end. Is going to cause an accident before very much longer. Step needs to be reduced so that traffic can enter Woodside normally. This is dangerous.

  • No action has been taken to rectify this defect at the junction. The step in level is severe and causes vehicles turning off Blind Lane into Woodside to slow so much to avoid jolting over the step, that cars behind have to break suddenly. This is going to cause an accident. This defect remains and has not been rectified which perpetuates the risk to road users.
