Obscured School Road Sign

Reported in the Sign problem category anonymously at 21:21, Thu 1 October 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Hello, The triangular road sign post warning School for Danesfield School on the Henley Road is obscured by the roadside branches on the approach to the school parents' car park.

Road users are often caught by surprise when nearing the school as the sign is not clearly visible from a moving vehicle at any distance.

Also the low protruding branches at the parents' car park make exits perilous and dangerous because it is difficult to see if any road traffic is coming up the hill from the corner on the Henley Road going to Marlow.

Thank you.

  • An excellent job. No doubt the school signage is again clear and easily noticeable by all road users. Thank you to the people that did the job and to those who organised it.

    State changed to: Fixed
