Back of property 1A Sefton Paddock
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 11:45, Sat 3 October 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2323071.
With the modest rain today I am getting bad flooding in my back garden resulting from an underground drainage pipe being blocked and water escaping from an inspection manhole. The water is surface water from the nearby road, the drain for which run across my property. The underground pipes were jetted on 10th August 2020 but this has not solved the problem or cleared the pipes. Either the drainpipes are still blocked or the ditch where the pipes emerge in Sefton Park Business Park need to be cleared as they silt up badly and restrict water flow. You will see by the amount of water this needs investigation immediately, possibly by a camera survey. Please investigate immediately as I am afraid more heavy rain in Winter will cause sever flooding. This is a regular problem. For some reason Fixmystreet has lost the previous reports from my account. I list the problem reference numbers for your information: 40078814, 40085022, 40137711. Normally Jetting the pipes fixes the issue for over a year but this time has failed to resolve the issue. Joe Connelly is aware of my case and has previously arranged for the pipes to be jetted.
