  • After calling the emergency number at 7.30 am on 4/10/20 to report the flooding and a neighbour calling later we were told that we would at least get flood signs nothing happened. Even though this is a country road it is a very busy road and the flooding is becoming a hazard for us as residents one drive mounted the kerb and over took another driver on the path even though I was on the path. This is a accident waiting to happen if a driver looses control of their car going through such deep water and a such speeds someone or property is going to very seriously hurt damaged, we may be a small village but we deserve to the same highway standards as that of residence in the main town. I have reported this at least 4 times in the last month or so and nothing happens. The issue is the bank opposite it holds the water and needs to be reduced in size or removed so the water can flow away. Please can you look at this increasingly dangerous issue with winter approaches, as a priority, As Aylesbury residence our safety on the foot paths should be the councils responsibility.
