There are no footpaths at all in School Lane to accomodate the young children and family members of the school. Although there are only few issues as the majority of traffic is either local residents/school parents, who drive sensibly and are aware of the pedestrians in the middle of the road, there are occasions whereby someone else has come driving down at such a speed, they could not stop in time on the corner, as such, had to drive “into” the hedge. Had they not done this, they would have collided with pedestrians in the road, which at the time, was a mother pushing a buggy with two babies in it. Please could consideration into the options of a small footpath on the “park” side of the hedgerow. There are gaps in it at the moment, which could be used, allowing parking along School Lane and then foot pedestrians on the safe side of the cars and hedgerow. This will be safer for the pedestrians, as well as easing the congestion & accessibilty for users of the school & the local residents.
